TITLE
muBackdrop - MultiUser Workbench backdrop icons
VERSION
Distribution version 1.0
AUTHORS
David Swasbrook
E-mail address: swaz@iconz.co.nz
DESCRIPTION
Running MultiUserFileSystem I was finding it annoying that eveyone had
the same icons left out on their Workbench, and since the ".backdrop"
files were owned by certain users, other users could not leave icons
out that they wanted... so a few patches later muBackdrop was born.
muBackdrop redirectes Workbench when loading and saving ".backdrop"
files to a specific directory, and each ".backdrop" is named
individually for the disk it is associated with.
Thus, each user can have a user specific set of icons left out on
the Workbench by setting the muBackdrop path to a directory in the
users home directory. Eg. something like "HOME:.backdrops/" works
well.
Other than that it is just like using Workbench as normal...
FEATURES
1. Saves Workbench ".backdrop" files in specific path.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
OS release 2.04 or newer.
"matrix.library" version 23.2192 (included in archive).
Multiview or Amigaguide to read the documentation.
Commodore installer.
Distribution is archived with lha so program to un-archive is needed.
